Whyte & Mackay Microsoft 365 and Power Platform Case Study – Flyte

Business Challenge

Whyte & Mackay brought in Flyte to evaluate their Power Platform estate. The discovery session raised a bigger question: how do you maintain momentum on your Power Platform investment, reduce the operational friction of things quietly going wrong, and give your teams the tools and guidance they need to trust their own reporting, without adding pressure to the internal team?

A secure, scalable, and well‑governed Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environment – with an IT team that is empowered, not overwhelmed and a partner in place to keep it that way.

The Solution

Building In Ongoing Support, stakeholder check-ins, help desk and continuous improvement recommendations

Microsoft 365 / Power Platform Support

Following the discovery session and rebuild of a legacy distributor portal, Flyte became Whyte & Mackay’s specialist escalation point for Power Platform, providing expert incident response through our service desk and clear escalation pathways for complex issues – giving the internal team confidence to offload Power Platform-related incidents to our specialists knowing that faults will be diagnosed, resolved, and safely restored in line with Microsoft and platform best practices.

Ongoing support was built around regular stakeholder check-ins, giving the team a standing forum to flag issues early and discuss what the dashboards should do next, with continuous improvement recommendations following naturally from these sessions and Flyte’s in-house developers scoping and delivering enhancements as new reporting needs came up: all logged and tracked through Flyte’s Customer Portal.

The Result

Delivering ongoing solution support for Power Platform

Today, Whyte & Mackay has Flyte as its dedicated escalation point for Power Platform, backed by a service desk, clear escalation pathways, and ongoing stakeholder check-ins that keep issues visible before they become problems. Rather than firefighting faults as they appear, the internal IT team now works alongside Flyte’s specialists – logging requests through the Customer Portal, offloading complex Power Platform incidents with confidence, and receiving continuous improvement recommendations as reporting needs evolve.

That support has already extended beyond the original Distributor Portal, with Flyte delivering further Power Platform projects across the business: proof that the partnership isn’t standing still, but actively growing alongside Whyte & Mackay’s Power Platform estate.
